Board of Visitors (ALP PPUM)

The Universiti Malaya Medical Centre Board of Management, in it’s meeting held on 24 December 2025 has agreed to appoint 11 members to the PPUM Board of Visitors (ALP PPUM) effective from 01 January 2026 until 31 December 2027.

Main roles and functions of ALP PPUM

Liaison between PPUM and the Community
Organize visits to PPUM
Welfare services to patients and PPUM
Participating in PPUM activities and organize own programs

The establishment of the PPUM ALP is expected to create close cooperation between the PPUM ALP and PPUM residents which will bring a positive impact in transforming medical services to the community, especially at PPUM facilities. In addition, the ALP PPUM is expected to demonstrate full commitment and dedicated in carrying out their respective roles as a bridge between PPUM and the community.
