YAYASAN KARTIKA EKA PAKSI, SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU KESIHATAN VISIT

UMMC has received visitors consisting of 20 Master of Nursing students and 8 nursing lecturers, Yayasan Kartika Eka Paksi, Health Science High School, General Achmad Yani, West Java, Indonesia on October 30, 2018.

The purpose of the visit is to increase the knowledge on the management and care of patients at the UMMC. They also exchange and share views in the field of care especially those involving nursing fields. Apart from briefings, visitors were also taken to the ward, Emergency Medical Department, Surgery Hall. Thank you students and lecturers of General Health Science High School Achmad Yani for choosing UMMC to be visited.

COURSE "THE LEADERSHIP: JOURNEY TO THE TOP: MAKING IT HAPPEN"

Two series of Leadership Workshop, "The Leadership: Journey To The Top: Making It Happen" was held on 21 to 23 September 2018 (Part 1) and 26 to 28 October 2018 (Part 2) at Everly Hotel, Putrajaya. Emeritus Dato ''Dr Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman was the speaker of the program. About 30 Head of Department and Senior Officers from UMMC has attended this course. One of the goals is to train leaders to lead the organization in the future, department preparation and parties management in the provision of profiling staff, an effort to formulate a succession planning agenda and also share experiences, ideas with Head of Department and Senior Officers to become charismatic leaders that inspire other staff. Hopefully this course will increase knowledge, understand direction, skilful, positive personality, contribute, make right decisions and fair in leading to organizational excellence. We do our best, Allah will do the rest.

LARIAN 5KM "AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE"

Statistics show that 62,670 cases of domestic violence have been reported from 2000 to January 2017 with an estimated average of about 3,800 cases a year, of which 323 cases per month and an estimated 10 cases a day for cases of violence against wives or husbands. Statistics also show an increase in cases over the years and this is a great concern for us. Hence, the attendees who attended the morning were together to curb domestic violence and to help victims.
