We launched our recycle day celebration this morning with the objective to instill recycle routine among the public.
This event is duly organized by the General Facilities Unit as an initiative from UMMC in instilling the recycle routine by embracing the concept of 4R (Rethink, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).
Congrats to the respective unit on such initiative!...

Majlis ini adalah bersempena persiapan para pelajar menghadapi peperiksaan akhir semester.

We would like to inform you that UMMC is currently having our fire drill & chemical spillage training in UMMC. Among the affected building is the East Tower. Hence all access to the respective tower is prohibited until further notice from the Fire Department. Our daily operations will resume after the drill.

Today our Infectious Disease Unit under the Medical Department & The Nursing Department has successfully organized UMMC''s World AIDS Days in conjunction with the World Aids Day 2016.
The event was launched by our Director, Prof. Dr. Tunku Kamarul Tunku Zainol Abidin with the theme ''Test Early, Treat Early''. The program was filled with a public forum on the awareness of having an early test to detect the disease.

We are proud to announce UMMC-Medical Research Ethics Committee (UMMC-MREC) has recently been awarded recognition by SIDCER-FERCAP at a ceremony in Bangkok on 23 November 2016.
This is the outcome of a very thorough audit-evaluation of the UMMC-MREC by a FERCAP team of international and national assessors from 25-27 August 2016. The MREC members and Secretariat had worked very hard for this and the teamwork and cooperation of all concerned have been exemplary.
This recognition is an International Accreditation and will strengthen UMMC''s position as a leading centre for medical research and the leader in medical education, in Malaysia and in this region....

Jabatan Keselamatan Jalan Raya (JKJR) melawat para pesakit akibat kemalangan jalan raya sempena Hari Memperingati Mangsa Kemalangan Jalan Raya 2016. Lawatan bertujuan memberi sumbangan selain meninjau keadaan mangsa dan ahli keluarga pasca kemalangan jalan raya. Inisiatif memupuk kesedaran mengenai kepentingan penjagaan pasca kemalangan dan kesedaran untuk berhati-hati di jalan raya ini turut dilengkapi dengan sesi pameran yang telah dilangsungkan pada 18 November 2016 bertempat di Konkos, Menara Utama dan Ruang Legar bangunan Rawatan Utama (RUKA)....

Persatuan Perihatin Kanak-kanak Kanser (CARES) bersama para sukarelawan mengambil kesempatan meraikan para pesakit Pediatrik Onkologi PPUM dan kanak-kanak yang telah berjaya pulih dari kanser dalam sebuah karnival mini yang cukup meriah bertempat di Grand Dorsett Kuala Lumpur.
Pelbagai acara menarik diadakan bagi menceriakan hero-hero kecil bersama ahli keluarga disamping meraikan para petugas berubatan yang telah membantu merawat para pesakit dengan penuh dedikasi....
