Statistics show that 62,670 cases of domestic violence have been reported from 2000 to January 2017 with an estimated average of about 3,800 cases a year, of which 323 cases per month and an estimated 10 cases a day for cases of violence against wives or husbands. Statistics also show an increase in cases over the years and this is a great concern for us. Hence, the attendees who attended the morning were together to curb domestic violence and to help victims.

In addition, the 5km run against domestic violence organized on 27 October 2018 is one of the leisure and leisure programs with the people so that Malaysians remain healthy and fit to serve the nation. The run was officiated by Yang Berhormat Mrs. Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan Deputy Minister, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development.
