Department of Engineering

Services provided among others are:

1. Maintenance and Engineering Services
   1. Providing maintenance and repairing services for Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronic Engineering system and devices including altering as well as the installation of new systems.
   2. Regulating the Centralized Services Plant such as Air- Conditioning, Power Plant, Standby Power and Uninterruptible Power Supply-UPS System, Hot and Cold Water Supply System, Fire Guard System, Pneumatic System, etc constantly round-the-clock.
   3. Providing technical data and engineering support services to plan and carry out renovation and development projects as well as supervising projects until completion.
   4. Cooperating with government agencies to represent engineering and technical aspects such as Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR), Energy Commission of Malaysia, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn. Bhd. (SYABAS), Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), Fire and Rescue Department and etc.
   5. Maintenance of UMMC Transports.
2. Development
   1. Coordinating and implementing the Malaysia''s Five Years Plan Fiscal Project.
   2. Creating a mediation system and implementation of an integrated project as well as monitoring system development and project enhancement from time to time.
   3. Coordinating UMMC Development Program with the Ministry of Education, Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) and Economic Planning Unit (EPU) of the Prime Minister Office.
   4. Secretariat of the Development Committee of UMMC.

   1. Staff service and welfare affairs.
   2. Maintenance procurement and contract management.
   3. Administrative and financial affairs.
   4. Store management.
   5. Fix and repair request process.
