Department of Islamic Affairs

INTRODUCTION

Islamic Affairs PPUM is a department that has been placed under the non-clinical department. This department was established on October 1, 2021 to provide services all about Islamic affairs for PPUM staff, students and patients in terms of physical & spiritual based on the shariah approach.

Department of Islamic Affairs PPUM, plays a central role in the planning of Islamic Affairs management and development of the staf, student and community with the following functions:

1. Responsible as a planner who determines the development and progress of Islamic Affairs in PPUM;
2. Formulate a policy for the development of Islamic Affairs in the PPUM and maintain the purity of Islamic beliefs and teachings
3. Assist in formulating and harmonizing the necessary laws and regulations as well as evaluating and coordinating the implementation of existing laws and administration in the efforts to resolve problems of Muslims;
4. Implement staf development programs and appreciation of Islam in the management;
5. Implement patient visit programs, motivate and doing spiritual support
6. Acting as a collector, disseminator and reference center of information on Islamic affairs; and
7. Spreading the Islamic knowledge, developing the Islamic religious awareness. The department supervises the religious recordings, printing, and the distribution.
