Staff Health Clinic Unit

A. STAFF AND STUDENT HEALTH CLINIC

Available services:

i) Overall healthcare treatment services for individual staff and family members is aimed to raise awareness by providing health screening for early detection of illnesses. This can also help in long term monitoring of any illnesses and speedy treatment for acute cases.

ii) Hepatitis B immunization for all clinical staff including TB contact screening.

iii) Health screening program for all staff of 40 years and above.

iv) Health screening and monitoring for all staff who are working in risky area (such as in laboratories/ workinf with oncology drugs/ rays and radiation) or in noisy surroundings.

v) Medical report inspection for new staff and contract renewal.

vi) Medical report inspection for new trainees such as trainee nurses, medical lab technologists and radiologists.

vii) Women Health Clinic (pap smear, mammogram and family planning consultation)

viii) Additional service: vaccination for staff and eligible dependents who are going to perform Umrah and Haj.

ix) Additional service: Yellow Fever Vaccination

B. DENTAL CLINIC

It already started on September 1st 2016 and is open for all UMMC staff. The services includes dental check-ups, scaling, filling, polishing, and extraction.

It got positive feedbacks from UMMC staff. During Ramadhan, the clinic will focus on services for children of UMMC staff aged 8 to 18 years old.

WORLD HYPERTENSION DAY 2018

The Staff Health Clinic together with the Department of Primary Care Medicine, supported by the Malaysian Society of Hypertension has provided free health screening services for staff and public visitors in conjunction with the celebration of World Hypertension Day. The event was held in Concourse, Menara Utama.
