Department of Corporate Relations

The Department of Corporate Relations help UMMC to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, especially customers as well as other related businesses and are tasked with developing and improving the local, regional, and national image and reputation for the company. The department involved in managing and orchestrating all internal and external communications aimed at creating favourable point of view among stakeholders on which UMMC depends.

  1. Administration and Complaints Section
    • manage and carry out administrative tasks and customer complaints
    • manage telephone networking and fax
    • prepare monthly report of complaints to Board of Management Meeting
  2. Event Management and Media Section
    • organise and manage official events and visits
    • prepare souvenirs
    • organise meetings, dialogues and press conference
    • issue press releases/ statements
    • administer display content on printed, electronic and social media
    • VIP escort
  3. Customer Service Section
    • control over operator console for line connection, and to provide UMMC general information
    • assist communication system during disaster occurence


1. Food for the Needy in collaboration with PEMANGKIN PPUM

Food for the Needy is the department''s initiative in collaboration with Pemangkin PPUM to help staffs in need of basic needs according to terms and conditions. This program was introduced on October 5th 2018.

2. Effective Communication Training for UMMC Staff

The Department organized this course to train the front-line staffs to improve their communication effectiveness with the customers.
