OBJECTIVE

To provide fertility treatment for infertile couples and to fulfill the dreams of couples to have a child.


WHAT IS INFERTILITY

Couples who have been married for one year and above and have a normal sexual intercourse without protection, at least twice a week and also does not have any gynecological problem but yet to possess a child. They are encouraged to see a specialist for advice and treatment if necessary.


TREATMENTS

  1. Oocyte Pick-up (OPU)
    An Egg Collection is the process of obtaining the eggs or ovums from the ovary of the female. This is a simple procedure that is performed in a mini Operation Theatre by a doctor under a light anaesthetic.
  2. IUI (Intrauterine Insemination)
    Sperm that is washed in the laboratory was transferred into the uterus during ovulation
    (fertile period).
  3. IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation)
    Known as test tube baby treatment. Oocyte is fertilised by sperm in a laboratory culture dish and incubated to become embryo.
  4. ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection)
    A single sperm is injected into an oocyte for fertilisation.
  5. Semen Analysis (SA)
    A detail test to analyse semen, sperm count, quality, motility and morphology.
  6. Sperm Freezing
    Sperm is stored in liquid nitrogen (LN2) for future use.
  7. Oocyte/Embryo Freezing
    Oocyte/Embryo is stored in liquid nitrogen (LN2) for future use.
  8. Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)
    Frozen embryos from a previous IVF cycle is thawed and transferred back into the uterus.
  9. Surgical Sperm Retrieval (SSR)
    surgery to extract sperm directly from the testes or epididymis.
